Servier Research Grant in Hypertension

Servier Research Grant in Hypertension

Since 2003, Servier collaborates with the European Society of Hypertension (ESH) to encourage research on a cardiovascular project.
This Servier Research Grant in Hypertension (grant of 30 000 €) is awarded every 2 years for a European research proposal in the field of hypertension and related diseases with a focus on end-organ damage and other biomarkers.

The selection is made by a committee appointed by the ESH, composed of internationally renowned experts in hypertension and related cardiovascular diseases.

The jury designated as the 2013 winner, Dr Stefano Masi (Institute of Cardiovascular Science, Great Ormond Street Hospital, University College of London, UK)  for his project entitled “Central haemodynamics and end-organ damage: association and determinants”.

The grant was awarded to Dr Masi by Ms Laurence Alliot, Director of Medical Affairs, during the award ceremony of the ESH 2013 in Milan.
